Sound Card

Almost all motherboards come with the Sound Card on-board (already on the motherboard) and you do not need to purchase an additional card unless you need it for specific reasons.

Before you run out and buy a new sound card, take inventory of how many open slots you have on your motherboard. Your mutherboard should have a PCI slot (a white slot) to accomodate the Sound Card.
